Those forty broke the insurgents' back -- time to pack up and leave. I don't care that this story had no attribution anywhere on the web and therefore has no veracity, it clearly shows that our propaganda is better than theirs -- and that's what this is about. Marketing er, Mission Accomplished!

Since I am old enough I remember numerous pictures like the above of surrendered arms of the Viet Cong. MACVN in Saigon patted themselves on the back thinking they were scoring a little PR coup with the pubic. Of course the fact that the South Vietnamese Army was riddled from top to bottom with VC was not to be mentioned
